Multyfarnham is a small County Westmeath village in Ireland's midlands, surrounded by green pastures and scattered woodlands. From Dublin, take the M4 west to Mullingar, then the R394 north for about 10 kilometres, covering roughly 90 kilometres total. The R397 connects directly to Longford 25 kilometres north. Electric vehicle charging is available in nearby Mullingar. The village is home to the Franciscan Friary of the Immaculate Conception, founded in 1268, which houses rare medieval manuscripts and remains an active religious community today.
