Mucking lies in Essex's Thames Estuary, reached via the A1013 from M25 Junction 30. Most visitors come from London or use the M25 network, whilst local routes connect through Stanford-le-Hope and Thurrock. The area has over 150 EV charging points, mainly around Lakeside. The village sits atop one of Britain's most important archaeological sites, revealing 10,000 years of continuous human settlement.
