Moville sits at the tip of the Inishowen Peninsula where the River Foyle meets Lough Foyle, facing across to Northern Ireland. Take the N13 north from Letterkenny, then R238 and R241 through Carndonagh to the R240, or come up the R238 from Derry along the eastern shore, about 30 kilometers. City of Derry Airport is 45 minutes south. The harbor was once the last European stop for transatlantic liners, including the Titanic, which collected mail and passengers here before sailing to its fate in 1912.
