Mountnessing is a small Essex village between Ingatestone and Shenfield, easily reached via the A12 from M25 Junction 12. Popular with day-trippers from London (45 minutes) and locals commuting to Shenfield station. The village features a working windmill from 1807 that still grinds flour traditionally.
