Mountcharles sits on the N56 between Donegal town and Killybegs, making it a handy stop along the Atlantic coast. The village is about 15 kilometres from Donegal town and gives you easy access to Ballyshannon's leisure centre to the south or Donegal Golf course to the north. Dublin is roughly four hours away via the N4, while Belfast takes about two and a half hours through Omagh. The area has decent electric vehicle charging with around 12 fast stations nearby for Wild Atlantic Way trips. Harvey's Point hotel here regularly makes international best hotel lists, putting this small Donegal village on the map for travellers.
