Mount Ambrose

Mount Ambrose occupies Cornwall's historic mining heartland, positioned between Redruth and several former mining villages. The A30 provides the main connection for visitors from across Britain, whilst the A393 and B3298 serve local traffic between Redruth, Falmouth, and the north coast. The area's mild maritime climate and elevated position offer cooler conditions than coastal Cornwall. With approximately 60 public fast chargers nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The settlement sits beneath a prominent hill that once housed one of Cornwall's deepest copper mines, with shafts extending over 300 metres underground.
