Mossbay forms part of Workington's coastal sprawl in west Cumbria, connected by the A596 coastal road. Most journeys are short hops to Workington centre or neighbouring settlements like Moorclose and Westfield. Longer trips typically involve heading inland to join the M6 near Penrith.
