Morcott is a Rutland village on the A47 between Leicester and Peterborough, surrounded by gentle countryside near the Leicestershire border. The A47 provides the main access, with the A6003 connecting north to Oakham and south to Stamford. RAF Wittering sits nearby, and there are over 60 fast EV chargers in the area. The village's Norman church contains a remarkable 14th-century wall painting of St. Thomas Becket's martyrdom.
