Monkokehampton lies in rural Devon between Dartmoor and the Cornish border. Access is via the A30 to A3079 from Exeter, or A386 from Plymouth, then local roads through Hatherleigh. The 13th-century parish church houses a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen with original painted saints.
