Monaseed sits in County Wicklow along the eastern coast, about 80 kilometers south of Dublin via the N11. The village connects easily to Arklow on the R772 and westward to the Wicklow Mountains on the R747, with shorter routes from Rathdrum and Avoca for day trips. The area offers Pirates Cove Adventure Park and several golf courses including Coollattin and Woodenbridge. St. Patrick's Church from 1835 stands out with its limestone construction quarried locally from the surrounding hills.
