Mintlaw is a small Aberdeenshire market town 40km northwest of Aberdeen, reached via the A90 and A952 through typical Buchan farmland. The A952 connects to major routes whilst local roads serve nearby villages like Old Deer and Saint Combs. About 5 EV charging points are available locally. The old railway station building still stands from when Mintlaw was a stop on the former Buchan line.
