Minishant is a small South Ayrshire village just off the A77, the main Glasgow-to-Stranraer route. It's about 45 minutes from Glasgow via the M77 and A77, making it accessible for day trips whilst serving long-distance traffic heading to the Irish ferries. The village sits in gentle farming country with views across to Ailsa Craig, the volcanic island famous for providing granite for Olympic curling stones.
