Miltown

Miltown sits on Scotland's remote Applecross peninsula, reached via the A896 and either the coastal route or the notorious Bealach na Bà mountain pass with its hairpin bends climbing to 626 metres. Most visitors take the longer but easier coastal road rather than risk the challenging mountain crossing. The settlement lies just a kilometre from Applecross village in one of Britain's most isolated corners, where mobile phone coverage remains distinctly patchy.
