Millwall occupies the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs in East London's former docklands. The A1206 Westferry Road provides the main access route, connecting via the A13 to central London or through the Rotherhithe Tunnel from south of the river. Most journeys are short local trips, though parking requires permits on weekdays. The area's defining landmark remains The Den, home to Millwall FC since 1993.
