Milfield is a small Northumberland village on the A697, the main route between Newcastle and the Scottish border at Coldstream. It's well-positioned for exploring the Till Valley, with good access to nearby Ford and Etal. The area offers decent EV charging coverage with about 13 fast chargers nearby. The village sits beside one of Britain's largest prehistoric henge monuments, a massive Neolithic earthwork spanning nearly 200 metres.
