Milestone is a small coastal spot in County Galway along Galway Bay, about 15 kilometres southwest of Galway city. The N6 from Dublin is your main route, connecting to the R336 coastal road that runs along the bay's southern shore. From Cork, take the N20 to Limerick, then M18 and N6 west. The area has decent EV charging in Galway city centre. The standout feature here is Galway Bay Golf Course, where the fairways run right to the water's edge and golfers often stop their games to watch seals lounging on the rocks below the greens.
