Midland is a small settlement on Orkney's Mainland, about 15 kilometres south of Kirkwall via the A964. Most visitors arrive by ferry from the Scottish mainland then drive across the island's rolling landscape. The area provides easy access to Scapa Flow and Orkney's archaeological treasures, with over 30 fast EV charging points available locally. The town lies near the famous Churchill Barriers, the wartime causeways linking Orkney's southern isles.
