Middlecliffe lies just east of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, easily reached via the A635 from the town centre or the M1 at Junction 37. The former mining village sits where the Pennine foothills meet flatter ground, with over 150 EV charging points available across the Barnsley area. The preserved colliery headframe from the old Middlecliffe pit remains a distinctive landmark along the approach roads.
