Middlebie is a small Dumfries and Galloway village on the A7 between Carlisle and Edinburgh, just 3km from Dumfries town. The A7 connects south to the M74 at Gretna for motorway access, whilst local roads serve nearby villages like Ecclefechan and Kirtlebridge. Electric vehicle drivers have around 15 fast charging points locally. The village's 19th-century parish church makes a striking roadside landmark.
