Middle Barton is a small Oxfordshire village reached via the B4030, sitting between Chipping Norton and Bicester. Most arrive from the A40 via Enslow or the A4260 from Banbury direction. The village clusters with Westcott and Steeple Barton in gentle farming country typical of the Cotswold fringe. St. Nicholas Church houses remarkable 12th-century wall paintings of Saint Nicholas discovered during 1960s restoration work.
