Mid Clyth perches on Caithness's windswept coast, reached via the A99 from Wick, about 15km north. Most visitors drive up the A9 from Inverness (280km), whilst locals use the coastal A99 linking scattered settlements. Roughly 8 EV chargers serve the area, mainly in Wick near the airport. The Bronze Age stone rows here rank among Scotland's most impressive prehistoric monuments.
