Menstrie lies beneath the Ochil Hills in Clackmannanshire, accessible via the A91 which runs through the village between Stirling and St Andrews. The A907 provides an alternative route from nearby Alloa. Most journeys are local trips between Hillfoots communities or commuter runs to Stirling, though the village also serves walkers heading into the hills.
