Mells is a Somerset village between Bath and Frome, reached via the A361 from Frome or A36 from Bath through Radstock. The settlement sits in a sheltered valley with medieval architecture and strong literary connections, drawing visitors to its historic manor and gardens. The village church houses an elaborate WWI memorial tomb carved by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
