Medstead lies along the A31 between Winchester and Alton, accessed via country roads near Four Marks. The village serves as a useful junction for exploring Hampshire's network of lanes connecting smaller settlements like Bentworth and Wield. With over 90 EV charging points nearby and good links to the M3 at Junction 9, it's well-positioned for both local journeys and longer trips. The preserved Mid Hants Railway station, built in 1865, still operates steam services between Alton and Winchester.
