Mayview, MO

Mayview is a small farming town of 301 people in Lafayette County, about 40 miles east of Kansas City via I-70 and Highway 13. Most visitors take Exit 58 at Higginsville and drive north through rolling prairie farmland. The town developed around the Missouri Pacific Railroad and features a restored 1920s grain elevator that's still operational and visible for miles across the flat countryside.
