Masham is a proper Yorkshire Dales market town on the A6108, easily reached from the A1 via Ripon or from Harrogate through Pateley Bridge on the B6267. The town sits amongst classic Dales scenery with stone walls and sheep pastures, making it popular for both day trips from Leeds or York and longer touring holidays.
