Marrel is a small coastal settlement in Sutherland, reached via the A99 from Helmsdale, 2km south. The A9 from Inverness provides the main long-distance access, roughly 100km through remote Highland scenery. About 4 EV fast chargers serve the area. The settlement offers excellent coastal walks where grey seals regularly appear on nearby rocky shores.
