Marlas occupies quiet Herefordshire countryside near the Welsh border, where the A465 provides the main east-west route between Hereford and Abergavenny. Local lanes connect through villages like Kilpeck and Much Dewchurch, whilst the M50 lies 30km east for longer journeys. The famous Norman church at nearby Kilpeck displays some of Britain's most remarkable 12th-century stone carvings.
