Mardy
Wales
Mardy forms part of Abergavenny's eastern suburbs in Monmouthshire, sitting where the Usk Valley meets the Brecon Beacons foothills. The A40 provides the main route through the valley, connecting to Cardiff and the M4 eastbound, or Brecon westward. Most visitors arrive this way, whilst locals use the B4246 and valley roads for daily trips to Abergavenny town centre two kilometres west. You'll find roughly 60 EV charging points around nearby Abergavenny. The name derives from Welsh "mardy," meaning a place for keeping horses.
