Manorhamilton

united kingdom

united kingdom

Manorhamilton sits where several valleys meet in County Leitrim, about 160 kilometers northwest of Dublin and 30 kilometers from Sligo. The N16 runs straight through town, connecting Sligo with Enniskillen, while the R280 brings you up from Carrick-on-Shannon. There's decent EV charging with six fast chargers for those making the journey through the northwest. The town's named after Sir Frederick Hamilton, who built his manor here in the 1600s, and you can still see the castle ruins perched on the hill overlooking the center.
