Manningtree

Manningtree sits where the River Stour forms the Essex-Suffolk border, accessed via the A137 from Colchester or Ipswich. The A12 brings long-distance traffic from London, whilst local routes include the B1352 crossing into Suffolk. With over 100 EV charging points nearby and a direct rail link to Liverpool Street, it serves both commuters and continental travellers heading to Harwich. Despite being England's smallest town by area at just 0.16 square miles, Manningtree maintains its own mayor and town council.
