Macduff perches on Aberdeenshire's coast opposite Banff, reached via the A98 coastal road or A96/A97 from Aberdeen (65km). The A947 through Turriff provides an alternative route, whilst the scenic A98 westward draws tourists exploring the Moray coast. About seven fast EV chargers serve the area. The working harbour remains the town's heart, where fishing boats land their catch beneath a bronze statue of the Earl of Fife from 1890.
