Lynmouth nestles where two rivers meet the sea in a dramatic Exmoor valley, connected by the winding A39 Atlantic Highway. The Victorian resort offers cliff railway access to Lynton above, with challenging coastal routes from Porlock and gentler approaches via Barnstaple. About a dozen EV charging points serve the remote location, whilst the water-powered cliff railway still operates using its original Victorian ballast system.
