Lympne perches on Kent's escarpment above Romney Marsh, reached via the B2067 from the A20 near West Hythe. Most visitors come from the A20/M20 corridor or take local routes from Hythe and Folkestone. The village offers commanding views across the reclaimed marshland, whilst Lympne Castle's medieval towers still stand guard over what was once the ancient coastline.
