Lyminge is a historic Kent village nestled in the chalk downlands, eight miles northwest of Folkestone. Reach it via the A20 then B2068 through Elham, or from M20 Junction 11 taking the B2065 north. The village sits in a sheltered valley within the Kent Downs, connected to Canterbury by the scenic B2068. The 7th-century church houses one of England's finest collections of Anglo-Saxon carved stones, including Queen Æthelburh's remarkable royal memorial slab.
