Lustleigh nestles in Dartmoor's eastern foothills, reached via the A382 from Newton Abbot then minor roads through the Wray Valley. The village sits where ancient woodlands meet open moor, connected by narrow lanes to Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead rather than major routes. Its 15th-century church houses one of Devon's most spectacular medieval rood screens.
