Loxwood lies in the Surrey-West Sussex borders, about 40 miles south of London via the A3 and A281. This Weald village sits amongst ancient woodland, accessible through Alfold or via country lanes from Rudgwick and Plaistow. The restored Wey and Arun Canal runs through the village centre, complete with working lock gates built using Georgian-era methods.
