Loweswater is a small Lake District village built around one of Cumbria's more peaceful lakes. Reach it via the B5289 from Cockermouth, or from the M6 through Lorton Vale on winding country roads. The area has around 20 public EV charging points nearby. The lake stands out as one of the few in the district with a complete ban on powerboats.
