Lower Ninnes occupies a quiet corner of West Cornwall's ancient granite landscape, surrounded by the characteristic stone-walled fields and moorland that define this remote peninsula. Access is via the A3071 from Penzance or winding lanes off the B3306 coastal route. The village serves as a gateway to some of Cornwall's most significant prehistoric sites, including the nearby Mên-an-Tol stone circle with its distinctive holed stone.
