Lowbands
England
England
Lowbands occupies a quiet corner of Gloucestershire between the Severn Vale and Malvern Hills. The A417 provides the main connection north to Gloucester and south toward the M40, whilst the B4208 and B4211 handle local traffic to Tewkesbury and Ledbury. Long-distance visitors typically use M5 junctions 8 or 9. The settlement takes its name from the medieval agricultural terraces that still define the surrounding landscape.
