Low Waters forms part of Hamilton's urban sprawl in South Lanarkshire, just 20 minutes from Glasgow via the M74. Junction 6 provides main access, whilst the A724 runs straight through the district. Electric vehicle charging is excellent here, with over 200 fast chargers nearby. The name derives from the Clyde's historic winter floods that once turned the low ground into temporary lakes.
