Lorrha is a small village in County Tipperary, sitting 15 kilometres northeast of Birr and 20 kilometres south of Portumna amid rolling midlands countryside. The R489 runs straight through, connecting to the R440 from Birr via Shinrone, or directly south from Portumna. Dublin's about 150 kilometres via the M7, while Galway folk use the M6 and N65. You'll find fast chargers in nearby Birr and Portumna. The village is home to a 12th-century Augustinian priory ruins, with its round tower standing tall as a proper landmark you can spot from miles around.
