Loppington is a small Shropshire village on the A528, about 15km north of Shrewsbury. The main route runs from Shrewsbury toward Ellesmere, with eastern access via the A53 from Market Drayton. Electric vehicle drivers will find around 20 fast chargers in the area, mostly in nearby market towns. The 12th-century church contains a rare medieval wooden effigy of a knight, carved from a single oak trunk.
