Longlevens forms part of Gloucester's northern suburbs, easily reached via the A38 from M5 Junction 12. The area developed during post-war expansion and sits between the city center and Gloucestershire Airport. Local routes connect through Gloucester Road to Elmbridge and the city center, whilst the A38 provides direct access to Tewkesbury and the motorway network. The location offers convenient access to both urban facilities and the nearby Cotswolds. Sandford Parks Lido, a 1930s Art Deco outdoor swimming pool, remains the area's most distinctive feature.
