Longformacus is a tiny Borders village tucked into the Lammermuir Hills, reached via the A6112 from Duns then local roads. It's about 50km from Edinburgh via the A1, making it popular with walkers exploring the surrounding moorland. The village boasts one of Scotland's most remote parish churches, still holding services for one of the country's smallest congregations.
