Lonbain perches on Scotland's remote northwest coast along the Applecross peninsula, offering dramatic views toward Skye. Access requires single-track driving from the A896 via Applecross village, about 25km of challenging Highland roads. The famous Bealach na Bà mountain pass provides an alternative route south. Traditional white-washed crofting cottages still line the shoreline beneath towering dark mountains.
