Loaneckheim lies in the Scottish Highlands near Beauly, about 15 kilometres west of Inverness via the A862. Most visitors arrive from Inverness or use the A831 from the west through Glen Strathfarrar. The village sits within walking distance of Beauly Priory's 13th-century ruins.
