Llanedy is a small Carmarthenshire village positioned between Pontarddulais and Cross Hands, about 15 kilometres northeast of Swansea. Reach it via the A48 and A4138 from Swansea, or the M4 Junction 48 from the east. The village sits in gentle rolling countryside and serves as a convenient stopping point for journeys between Swansea and Carmarthen. Llanedy Primary School has been the community's focal point for over a century.
