Llandre lies along the A487 in Ceredigion, about six miles northeast of Aberystwyth. This small village sits in rolling countryside between the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay, easily reached via the main coastal trunk road. The Royal Welsh Agricultural College's Gelli Aur campus has been training agricultural students here since the early 1900s.
