Lizard occupies Britain's southernmost point, reached via the A3083 from Helston. The dramatic Atlantic headland position means persistent coastal weather and spectacular clifftop views. Long-distance visitors follow the A30 across Cornwall, whilst local routes connect nearby villages like Landewednack and Church Cove. The distinctive twin white towers of Lizard Lighthouse have marked this treacherous coastline since 1751.
